We enjoyed the fact that it is very clean & comfortable as well as being affordable for a stay in the mountains. We found it to be nice & quiet. Also, it is within easy walking distance to downtown for supper. Easy to find on the main streett. Parking very accessible which is important in Banff when it is busy. Would stay again. We make several short trips to mountains during the year for hiking or snowshoeing.
The hotel room was very clean, we loved the king size bed and the view from our room! It is a good place for an over night stay rather than an extended holiday.
The lack of tea in the room.
Rooms were nice and clean.
One of the staff members was extremely rude. She basically called me a liar when I told her I had negotiated a rate another desk person. She checked, found out she was wrong, but never apologized. In fact, she continued to snap at me.
Our room was located just across the pizzeria. There was smell coming out of the door and empty boxes on the hallway.
The room was quiet spacious and hotel is located on the central avenue
The room price was way too expensive was the room I have got - poor furnishing, poor bath furniture. Breakfast was ok
I welcomed the warmth of the hotel. The pleasant helpful staff were available to assist at all times. Made good use of the continental breakfast with plentiful choice.
the resturant was great, room sevice was very good really enjoyed the spa
Underground parking, should have slept there too!
Jelling, screaming, slamming doors etc till 5 oclock in the morning. What a night!! Never again!!
Near to downtown.
The continental breakfast lacked variety and was closed at exactly 10AM with the staff being less than friendly. The elderly lady never said a word - no hello, thank you, good-bye-and used her hands to move the pastries. The young gal dropped a sleeve of paper cups on the floor - picked them up and put them back out to be used! Lacking sanitary standards big time. Our room had a burned out light bulb in the lamp, the TV remote did not turn the TV off or on but did change channels. The blow dryer did not work on "low."
The location was slightly out of town but on the main road, so only a few minutes walk away, and a lovely walk it was. Bedrooms were very spacious with comfy large beds.
If you are a light sleeper ensure you book a hotel as far away from the train track as possible, especially on a sunday the freight trains run through the night and do not stop honking their horns all night. Breakfast staff were not as friendly as one would like.
Price was reasonable and short walk to downtown.
You get a lot for the price, our room was very nice.
We had a man follow us from the street while walking back to the hotel. He followed us all the way to the room, and we refused to open up. We, being two young women were scared and told the front desk, and all she said was, "so?" And did nothing to help. She could have at least gestured to the guy that she would call the police. Very rude!
The room was quaint and very clean and comfortable.
The shower knob did not adjust properly and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower. We informed the front desk about this!
convience of location
It was fine a little pricey for what you get but it was clean and fine. Steam room was very nice. thanks
